Rule #1- Remind yourself, "I just need to get started"

There will be times when you don’t feel like heading out the door for a jog or figuring out your budget, or whatever it is you’re supposed to do that day for your goal. Well, instead of thinking about how hard it is, and how long it will take, tell yourself that you just have to start.

A rule I heard from somebody once, think "I just have to put on my running shoes and close the door behind me. After that, it all flows naturally." It’s only when you’re sitting comfortably - thinking about jogging and feeling uninterested - that it seems difficult. Once you get started, it will never be as hard as you thought it was going to be. This tip can work for you every time if you practice it each day with the habits you want to, later, become natural.
